Combining expertise in marketing communications and advertising with an entrepreneurial spirit, Özgür Poyrazoğlu completed the ICF-accredited Gestalt Coaching Program by Gestalt Coaching Center, transforming into a coach. He further honed his skills through team coaching and facilitation trainings, including Deep Democracy courses, working extensively with leaders and teams to heighten awareness, fostering creative, entrepreneurially-minded individuals and teams with exceptional communication skills.
Özgür is deeply engaged in designing and facilitating workshops utilizing the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method. Beyond ideation and problem-solving, he collaborates closely with teams and organizations, utilizing this methodology to achieve multifaceted objectives. This innovative approach stimulates creative thinking, problem-solving, team building, improved communication, and strategic planning within organizational contexts.
He delivers individual and organizational coaching services, leadership trainings, and workshops through Paramita Partners, a company he co-founded in 2020. Özgür’s coaching activities span various organizations, including Nutricia, Danone, Temsa, Eczacıbaşı Vitra, Merck, and Cisco. Additionally, he is a co-founder of Soda* Istanbul, a full-service digital agency. Over the past 15 years, he has provided creative solutions in communication, marketing, and content domains, consulting for renowned global brands like Arçelik, Turkcell, Siemens, Atos, Yandex, TEB, Sanko, Doğan Grubu, Sütaş, Akbank, Eczacıbaşı, İnnova, and Google, among others.
Özgür completed his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Communication from Istanbul University and Marmara University, respectively. He holds an MBA from Istanbul Commerce University, focusing on “A Research on the Organizational Cultures of Turkish Web Companies” from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, he pursued undergraduate education in photography at Anadolu University.
With a career spanning nearly twenty-five years in internet technologies, marketing communications, and entrepreneurship, Özgür has spearheaded numerous ventures, creating innovative products, publications, and teams. Notable among his projects are Sinema.com, Tedarik.com, Hayhuy.com, and Kipitap Publishing House. He stands as one of the pioneering Turkish bloggers and social media influencers, founding Klaket.com and the acclaimed fatherhood blog, Babaolmak.com.
In 2005, Özgür Poyrazoğlu obtained an International Project Management certificate and the PMP title. He actively participated in Istanbul Project Management Association (IPYD) activities, serving on its Board in 2007.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Özgür is a semi-professional photographer, an avid traveler with a penchant for campervan journeys, and contributes travel articles to national papers. He is affiliated with ICF, ICF Turkey, IPYD (Istanbul Project Management Association), and the Montessori Association. Özgür, a fluent speaker of both Turkish and English, holds a PCC Certification and is adept at delivering coaching in both languages.
